The Air-Care electrostatic air filter measures 10"x30"x1" and features a MERV 8 rating, making it effective in removing airborne particles through a safe, naturally occurring static electricity process. The electrostatic charge generated by the airflow through a maze of static prone fibers attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released by washing. Constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel fastened with a single rivet, the filter material is securely tucked into the frame, supported by expanded metal, and optimized for airflow. Unlike traditional disposable filters commonly used in commercial air systems, which typically utilize 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, this high arrestance, low resistance permanent filter provides a cost-effective alternative. It offers benefits such as never needing replacement, cleaner air to breathe, no harmful ozone emissions, and a reduction in pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants. Additionally, it features anti-microbial filter media, high dust and particle holding capacity, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
