The kit includes a high security key lock with two keys, located on the top drawer, which unlocks all drawers simultaneously. For convenience, a lock-bypass mechanism allows selected drawers to remain unlocked while others are secured. These cabinets are fire rated for 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour, having been tested at 1700 degrees Fahrenheit for fire resistance and explosion tested at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, meeting the industry standard for fire protection. They are impact rated, surviving a 30-foot drop onto concrete rubble, which simulates actual conditions in a fire scenario. The Phoenix labyrinth sealing system and special gaskets ensure water resistance against damage caused by fire hose spray or sprinklers. Digital protection is provided for computer storage devices including CDs, DVDs, USB drives, and memory sticks/cards. An anti-tip safety mechanism is included to prevent more than one drawer from opening at once, while the rugged three-way suspension system ensures stability and smooth movement of drawers, even when fully loaded. Each drawer serves as a separate insulated container with an inner steel jacket, effectively preventing fire from spreading between drawers and safeguarding access to locked drawers.
