The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, which have a cross section measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep and extend the full length and width of the base. To enhance strength and rigidity, there are welded steel 11 gauge gussets at each corner. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that the package includes the cabinet base only, while shelving and drawers are sold separately.
