The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specially configured for North American fast charging systems, and includes AWG/MM contacts and tooling. It supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts, making it suitable for battery monitoring and charging applications. The connectors feature low mating forces, allowing them to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. A hexagonal voltage key accommodates 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 80V, and 96V configurations, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable, complying with MEE: DIN-norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
