The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specially configured for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/MM contacts and tooling, with the capability of accommodating up to 4 auxiliary contacts for battery monitoring and charging. It boasts low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and un-mated without the necessity of added hardware. A hexagonal voltage key is included, compatible with 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, which prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN-Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
