This kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically configured for North American fast charging systems, and includes AWG/mm contacts and tooling. It supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts, making it suitable for battery monitoring and charging applications. The design features low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and unmated without the need for added hardware. It also includes a hexagonal voltage key for 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 80V, and 96V, which prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and meet the MEE: DIN - Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589 specifications.
