The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, which has been specially configured for North American fast charging systems. It features AWG/mm contacts and tooling, supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts, and can be used for battery monitoring and charging. The connectors are designed for low mating forces, allowing them to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. Additionally, a hexagonal voltage key is included for voltage levels of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, which prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and comply with the DIN-standard DIN43589.
