The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically configured for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/MM contacts and tooling, and supporting up to 4 auxiliary contacts. It can be employed for battery monitoring and charging, designed with low mating forces to allow connectors to be mated and un-mated without the need for additional hardware. The system includes a hexagonal voltage key accommodating 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, which prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and comply with DIN standard DIN43589.
