The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specially configured for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/MM contacts and tooling, along with the capability to accommodate up to 4 auxiliary contacts, making it suitable for battery monitoring and charging. It is designed with low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and unmounted without the necessity of added hardware. The hexagonal voltage key supports operating voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. Additionally, the 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and meet the MEE: DIN-norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
