The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically configured for North American fast charging systems, and includes AWG/mm contacts and tooling. It supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts and can be used for battery monitoring and charging purposes. The design features low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and unmated without the necessity of additional hardware. A hexagonal voltage key accommodates voltages of 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 80V, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are compatible with American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN - Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
