The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, which has been specially configured for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/mm contacts and tooling, and supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts for battery monitoring and charging. It boasts low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. A hexagonal voltage key is included, accommodating voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, while preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are specifically designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN - Norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
