The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically designed for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/MM contacts and tooling. It accommodates up to 4 auxiliary contacts, suitable for battery monitoring and charging applications. The connectors are designed with low mating forces, allowing them to be mated and unmated without the need for additional hardware. A hexagonal voltage key is included for compatibility with 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. Additionally, the 'A' series connectors are intended for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with the MEE: DIN-Norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
