The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specially configured for North American fast charging systems, and includes AWG/mm contacts and tooling. It supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts, making it suitable for battery monitoring and charging with low mating forces. Connectors can be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. A hexagonal voltage key is provided for compatibility with 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V systems, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN-Norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
