The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically configured for North American fast charging systems, accommodating AWG/mm contacts and tooling. It features up to 4 auxiliary contacts that can be employed for battery monitoring and charging, offering low mating forces for ease of use. The connectors can be mated and unmated without the need for additional hardware, and are equipped with a hexagonal voltage key suitable for 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V applications. This key effectively prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN-Norm/DIN-standard DIN43589.
