The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, which has been specially configured for North American fast charging systems, featuring AWG/MM contacts and tooling. It supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts and can be used for battery monitoring and charging, with low mating forces allowing connectors to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. The hexagonal voltage key accommodates voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with the DIN Norm/DIN Standard DIN43589. The package includes a housing, contact holder, voltage key, cable clamp, and screws.
