The App® battery connector DIN A160 A16550-1049 features a female connector with a 50mm socket and four auxiliary contacts, designed in compliance with the DIN 43589-1 form factor specifically for North American fast charging systems. It supports AWG/mm contacts and tooling, allowing for the connection of up to four auxiliary contacts that can be utilized for battery monitoring and charging. The connector is engineered for low mating forces, enabling easy mating and unmating without the need for additional hardware. It includes a hexagonal voltage key that accommodates voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V while preventing the mating of different operating voltages. This 'A' series connector is suitable for American Wire Gauge cable and meets the standards set by DIN-Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
