The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, which is specially configured for North American fast charging systems and includes AWG/MM contacts and tooling, along with the capability of supporting up to 4 auxiliary contacts. It can be used for both battery monitoring and charging, featuring low mating forces that allow connectors to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. The kit includes a hexagonal voltage key, accommodating voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, ensuring that the key prevents the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with the MEE: DIN-Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
