The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, which is specially configured for North American fast charging systems. It includes AWG/MM contacts and tooling, supports up to 4 auxiliary contacts, and can be employed for battery monitoring and charging. The connectors feature low mating forces, allowing them to be mated and unmated without the necessity of added hardware. It incorporates a hexagonal voltage key that accommodates 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are designed for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with MEE: DIN - Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
