The kit utilizes the DIN 43589-1 form factor, specifically designed for North American fast charging systems, and includes AWG/MM contacts and tooling, accommodating up to 4 auxiliary contacts that can be used for battery monitoring and charging. It features low mating forces, allowing connectors to be mated and unmated without the need for additional hardware. The hexagonal voltage key is capable of accommodating voltages of 24, 36, 48, 72, 80, and 96V, preventing the mating of different operating voltages. The 'A' series connectors are intended for American Wire Gauge cable and comply with DIN Norm/DIN-Standard DIN43589.
