The Tri-Power classical section molded notch V-belt is constructed with Gates proprietary technology, boasting a superior combination of flex and load-carrying capacity while minimizing stretch for reduced maintenance. This belt is designed for optimal performance on heavy-duty A, B, and C section industrial drives, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, particularly where small or sub-minimal sheave diameters are necessary. The molded notches enhance its suitability for drives with smaller diameter sheaves, and the machined belt edge ensures even contact with the sheave grooves, resulting in decreased slip and wear. The flex-bonded cords are securely attached to the belt body, promoting equal load distribution and the absorption of bending stress without deteriorating the cords. The Tri-Power belt meets RMA oil and heat resistance standards and complies with RMA static conductivity requirements. Tri-Power belts are available in AX, BX, and CX sizes, with those longer than 210 inches featuring a banded, cut notch construction.
