The Hi-Power II Classical Section Wrapped V-Belt features a composite, multi-purpose construction that provides resistance to oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including V-flat drives. It includes Gates curves that ensure proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove, resulting in uniform loading, uniform wear, and increased belt life. The belt is equipped with flex-bonded cords that are strongly bonded to the belt body, which allows for equal load distribution and the absorption of bending stress without deterioration of the cords. Additionally, the patented Flex-Weave cover offers extended protection to the belt core from oil, dirt, and heat and is designed for longer cover life.
