The Hi-Power II Classical Section Wrapped V-Belt features a composite, multi-purpose construction that resists oil and heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging, making it suitable for all industrial applications, including V-flat drives. It is designed with Gates curves to provide proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove, which ensures uniform loading and wear while increasing belt life. The belt incorporates flex-bonded cords that are strongly bonded to the body, resulting in equal load distribution and the ability to absorb bending stress without deteriorating the cord. Additionally, the Flex-Weave cover, a patented fabric construction, offers longer cover life and extended protection to the belt core from oil, dirt, and heat. This belt meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity as well as oil and heat resistance.
