The Powerated FHP Medium Horse-Power V-Belt from Gates is designed for demanding utility applications, capable of transmitting up to 17 horse-power, which is significantly more than conventional utility belts. This V-belt features a reinforced construction with aramid tensile cord, offering strength superior to steel on a pound-for-pound basis. The green Flex-Weave cover is engineered to resist heat, oil, and cracking, ensuring longevity and reliability. Designed for optimal performance on clutching and backside idler drives, this belt provides smooth, quiet operation with reduced vibration due to its universal construction that ensures proper cord placement and cover alignment. Its concave sides ensure even contact with the sheave grooves, promoting uniform wear distribution. The Gates Powerated V-Belts can be used as substitutes for equivalent sizes of FHP low horse-power Gates TruFlex® V-Belts. This product is applicable for all years of Bolens, as well as all applicable engines requiring this belt.
