The TruFlex FHP Low Horse-Power V-Belt by Gates is designed for use in lower horse-power lawn and garden equipment, heating and home air conditioning drives, light-duty appliances, and various fractional horsepower applications. This V-belt is oil and heat resistant, and it is engineered to withstand ozone, weather, and many chemicals and detergents. The universal construction features precise cord placement and a cover that ensures smooth, quiet operation with minimized vibration. The concave sides of the belt are designed to provide even contact with the sides of the sheave grooves, promoting uniform wear. It is important to note that this belt should not be used in applications where FHP medium horse-power V-belts are recommended. The applicable equipment includes Brennan, IMP, gas, and generators.
