The Hi-Power II classical section wrapped V-belt features a composite, multi-purpose construction designed to resist oil and heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging, making it suitable for all industrial applications, including V-flat drives. This belt incorporates Gates curves for proper cord support, ensuring full contact with the sheave-groove to promote uniform loading, uniform wear, and increased belt life. The flex-bonded cords are securely bonded to the body of the belt, allowing for equal load distribution and the absorption of bending stress without deterioration of the cords. Additionally, the flex-weave cover, which is a patented fabric construction, provides extended protection to the belt core against oil, dirt, and heat. The Hi-Power II belt meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity as well as oil and heat resistance, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
