The Hi-Power II Classical Section Wrapped V-Belt features a composite, multi-purpose construction designed to resist oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging. It is suitable for all industrial applications, including V-flat drives, and employs Gates curves to ensure proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove, promoting uniform loading, uniform wear, and increased belt life. The belt includes flex-bonded cords that are strongly bonded to the body, allowing for equal load distribution and the absorption of bending stress without deteriorating the cords. The Flex-Weave cover utilizes a patented fabric construction that extends the cover life and protects the belt core from oil, dirt, and heat. This product meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity as well as oil and heat resistance. It is applicable for use in machinery such as the John Deere 9650 CTS and the John Deere 6-cyl. 496 diesel, particularly for overshot beater drive applications.
