The Tri-Power classical section molded notch V-belt is constructed with Gates proprietary technology, offering an excellent combination of flex and load carrying capacity while minimizing stretch for reduced maintenance. This belt is designed for superior performance in the most demanding heavy-duty A, B, and C section industrial drives and is suitable for all industrial applications, particularly where small or sub-minimal sheave diameters are necessary. The belt features notches molded during manufacturing to enhance its suitability for drives with smaller diameter sheaves. Additionally, the belt edge is machined for consistent sheave groove contact, which leads to less slip and wear. Flex-bonded cords are strongly integrated with the belt body, ensuring equal load distribution and effective absorption of bending stress without deterioration of the cords. The belt meets RMA oil and heat resistant standards as well as RMA static conductivity requirements, and it is available in AX, BX, and CX sizes, with lengths exceeding 210 inches being offered as a banded, cut notch construction.
