The Tri-Power Classical Section Molded Notch V-Belt is constructed with Gates proprietary technology, offering a superior combination of flex and load carrying capacity while minimizing stretch for reduced maintenance. This belt is engineered for optimal performance in heavy-duty A, B, and C section industrial drives, particularly in applications requiring small or sub-minimal sheave diameters. The molded notches enhance suitability for drives with smaller diameter sheaves, and the machined belt edge ensures even contact with the sheave groove, reducing slip and wear. Flex-bonded cords provide strong bonding to the belt body, allowing for equal load distribution and effective absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration. This belt meets RMA oil and heat resistant standards, as well as RMA static conductivity requirements. Tri-Power belts come in AX, BX, and CX sizes, and those longer than 210 inches feature a banded, cut notch construction, making them versatile for various applications including use on Caterpillar machinery models such as the 245B and the Caterpillar 6-Cyl. 893 Diesel.
