This 120V 15A metered PDU system with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) features an 8 outlet PDU equipped with a digital display that indicates total PDU power consumption in amps. The outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250 millisecond intervals when the PDU is first energized, which helps prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on startup. The installed web/network monitoring card allows for remote power monitoring and control, enabling the remote display of input power status, load capacity, and outlet power conditions via a secure network or web browser interface. It also offers individual outlet control to power on, off, or cycle AC output to regain control of locked-up servers and other network devices. Load ramping and shedding provide programmable power management for various network configurations, along with support for notification and logging of input power status, event notifications, output power, and PDU loading conditions. The PDU supports 1U rackmount installation in 2 or 4 post racks, includes 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets, and comes with two 12' 5-15P optional-use dual cords for the ATS option. The optional integrated ATS provides a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the attached power cord serves as the primary input while the included detachable cable functions as the secondary input. The ATS normally maintains continuous output to all outlets from the primary input cable, switching to the secondary power source within 2-7 milliseconds if the primary power source becomes unstable or fails. This functionality supports any two 120V AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, catering to various advanced redundant power networking applications.
