This 120V 20A metered PDU system with automatic transfer switching (ATS) features a 16 outlet PDU equipped with a digital display to indicate total PDU power consumption in amps. The outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250-millisecond intervals upon initial energization to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on startup. It supports 1U rackmount installation in a 2 or 4 post rack and includes 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets as well as two 12' L5-20P input power cords, each with a secure 5-20P adapter. The built-in card slot supports an optional SNMPWebCard for permanent upgrades to a switched and monitored PDU system, allowing for custom programming of power-on and power-off sequences with user-specified time delays in response to loss and restoration of primary input power. The optional integrated ATS provides a redundant power option suitable for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the attached power cord functions as the primary input while the detachable cable serves as the secondary input, maintaining continuous output to all outlets from the primary input under normal circumstances. If the primary power source fails or becomes unstable, the ATS switches to the secondary power source within 2-7 milliseconds until the primary source is restored. This functionality supports any two 120V AC power sources, enabling advanced redundant power networking applications. It also allows for fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when connected to separate UPS systems. In a dual-UPS setup, the primary input cable must connect to a full-time sine wave online UPS.
