This 120V 20A metered system with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) is a 16 outlet Power Distribution Unit (PDU) featuring a digital display that indicates total power consumption in amps. The outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250 millisecond intervals to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on startup. It includes an installed web/network monitoring card that enables remote power monitoring and control, allowing the remote display of input power status, load capacity, and outlet power status via a secure network or web browser interface. Individual outlet control enables users to power on, off, or cycle AC output to regain control of locked-up servers and other network devices. The system offers load ramping and shedding for programmable power management suitable for any network configuration, along with support for notification and logging of input power status, event notification, output power, and load conditions. It is designed for 1U rackmount installation in 2 or 4 post racks and includes 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and two 12-foot L5-20P input power cords, each equipped with a secure 5-20P adapter. The optional integrated ATS provides redundant power options for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the primary input from the attached power cord is maintained, while the included detachable cable serves as the secondary input. The ATS ensures continuous output to all outlets from the primary input cable and switches to the secondary source within 2-7 milliseconds if the primary source becomes unstable or fails. The ATS functionality is compatible with any two 120V AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, supporting a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications.
