Tripp Lite switched, metered rack power distribution units provide advanced network control and monitoring capabilities for IT managers, allowing them to turn on, turn off, recycle, or lock-out power to individual receptacles and remotely monitor PDU power consumption and in-rack environmental conditions. These systems can be accessed and configured through secure web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces, with individually switched outlets that enable remote rebooting of unresponsive network hardware. User-defined power-up and power-down sequences promote proper operation of interdependent IT systems and prevent inrush-related overloads. Programmable load-shedding for less critical devices extends UPS uptime during power failures, and unused outlets can be electronically locked off to prevent unauthorized hardware usage. Local power consumption data is displayed and monitored through the web/network interface, with customizable alarms for potential overloads. An optional EnviroSense temperature/humidity probe enables remote monitoring of environmental conditions, allowing connection to up to three user-supplied contact-closure sensors. The PDUMH20HVNET model supports a 20A maximum capacity at 208/230/240V (agency de-rated to 16 amps) and includes a detachable L6-20P and C19 input cordset, along with eight C13 switched outlets arranged in a single unbreakerred bank. It features visual and remote current monitoring and supports 1U rackmount installation in 19-inch racks.
