Tripp Lite's 120V 15A metered PDU system with automatic transfer switching (ATS) features an 8 outlet design and a digital display for monitoring total power consumption in amps. This PDU has factory-programmed sequential turn-on for outlets at 250 millisecond intervals during initial energization to mitigate inrush-related equipment interaction at startup. It supports 1U rackmount installation in a 2 or 4 post rack and includes 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets along with two 12 ft. 5-15P input power cords. The built-in card slot accommodates an optional SNMPWEBCARD, which facilitates a permanent upgrade to a switched and monitored PDU system. This card can also be temporarily installed for custom programming of power-on and power-off outlet sequences with user-defined time delays in reaction to loss and restoration of primary input power. The optional integrated ATS provides a redundant power solution for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the power cord serves as the primary input while the included detachable cable acts as the secondary. The ATS maintains continuous output to all outlets from the primary input, switching to the secondary power source within 2-7 milliseconds in the event of primary power failure. It is compatible with any two 120V AC power sources, allowing for diverse advanced redundant power networking applications, and it supports fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when connected to separate UPS systems. In a dual-UPS setup, the primary input must connect to a continuous sine wave online UPS.
