The Makita® barrel grip jig saw, model 4351FCT, features a tool-less blade change system and is equipped with a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the work area. This jig saw operates at a variable speed range of 800 to 2,800 SPM, with an orbital setting that includes three options plus straight cutting, powered by a robust 6.3 amp motor suitable for cutting various materials. It is designed to produce 40% less tool vibration, boasting the lowest noise level in its class, while an electronic speed control maintains constant speed under load. The jig saw includes a soft start feature for smooth start-ups, a die-cast aluminum base that adjusts up to 45° right or left with a positive stop at 90° for precise cutting, and a built-in dust blower that helps clear the line of cut for improved accuracy. The ergonomically designed rubberized barrel grip positions the handle closer to the work surface for enhanced precision, and it includes an onboard hex wrench for swift and accurate bevel adjustments.
