The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for letter-sized files and features a bone white finish with eight shelves. This innovative double-sided, rotating shelf unit optimizes space and efficiency by holding more files in a smaller footprint than traditional filing systems while allowing for quick access to stored materials. Specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with 13 gauge steel-formed U-channel reinforcements that measure 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, running the full length and width of the base. The structure is strengthened by welded steel 11 gauge gussets at each corner and features four adjustable leveling feet for leveling convenience. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing without a foot pedal. The unit comes equipped with four upright posts made from 11 gauge steel, dual durometer PVC closing strips, and a locking assembly located on the right front post. The random-keyed locks are durable, formed from 3/8" diameter steel rod, and have field-removable cores for easy key changes, with the option to install locks on both sides. The EZ2® rotary bottom operates on 5/8" diameter hardened steel ball bearings, featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage with 22 ball bearings for letter size, and a 24" diameter bearing cage with 44 ball bearings for legal size. The rotor bottom pivots on a 3/4" diameter pin.
