The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for efficient file storage with a letter size capacity and features six shelves in a sleek black finish. This innovative double-sided, rotating shelf unit maximizes storage by accommodating more than twice the files in a reduced footprint compared to traditional filing systems, while allowing quick access to documents. The specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from 13 gauge steel with U-channel reinforcements measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, ensuring a rigid structure supported by a welded steel 11 gauge gusset at each corner. The base includes four adjustable leveling feet for easy leveling and allows for 90° indexing without a foot pedal. Each unit features four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel with dual durometer PVC closing strips, which are bolted to the base using (2) 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts per post. A lock assembly is located on the right front post, with a 3/8" diameter steel rod lock bar for durability and the option for locks to be installed on both sides of the unit. The EZ2® rotary bottom utilizes 5/8" diameter, hardened steel ball bearings, featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage with 22 ball bearings for the letter size unit, and a 24" diameter cage with 44 ball bearings for the legal size unit. The bottom is designed to pivot on a 3/4" diameter pin and a mating steel.
