The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements that have a 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep cross section, extending the full length and width of the base. Each corner is fortified with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset to enhance strength and rigidity. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit is equipped with (4) upright posts and dual durometer PVC closing strips, and it is important to note that the cabinet base is sold separately from shelving and drawers.
