The Rotary File Cabinet Starter Unit is designed for letter-sized files and features a light gray finish with four shelves that optimize space and accessibility. This unit incorporates an innovative double-sided, rotating shelf design that accommodates more than twice the files compared to traditional filing systems while providing straightforward access to stored materials. The specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with 13 gauge steel U-channel reinforcements, featuring a cross-section of 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, which offers a robust structure capable of supporting the cabinet's weight. The base is equipped with four adjustable leveling feet and provides 90° indexing without the need for a foot pedal. Each unit comprises four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel with dual durometer PVC closing strips, securely bolted to the base. The locking system includes a lock assembly located on the right front post, with a lock bar made from 3/8" diameter steel rod for enhanced durability. Additionally, the EZ2® rotary bottom operates on a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage with 22 hardened steel ball bearings for letter size or a 24" diameter cage with 44 ball bearings for legal size, ensuring smooth rotation and pivoting on a 3/4" diameter pin.
