The rotary file cabinet adder unit is designed for letter-sized files and features six shelves with a light gray finish. This innovative unit incorporates a double-sided, rotating shelf that allows for more efficient storage, accommodating over twice as many files in the same footprint as traditional filing systems, while ensuring quick access to documents. The specifications include a robust EZ2® base made from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with steel-formed U-channel supports that feature a 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep cross-section, providing a strong and rigid structure. The base is equipped with adjustable leveling feet and allows for 90° indexing without the need for a foot pedal. The unit includes four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel, dual durometer PVC closing strips, and a lock assembly located on the right front post, with random-keyed locks made from 3/8" diameter steel rods for durability. The rotary bottom operates on hardened steel ball bearings; the letter size unit has a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage with 22 ball bearings, while the legal size version features a 24" diameter cage with 44 ball bearings. The rotor bottom pivots smoothly on a 3/4" diameter pin and a mating component.
