The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements that measure 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, extending the entire length and width of the base. Each corner is fortified with welded steel 11 gauge gussets to enhance strength and rigidity. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, while each EZ2® unit is equipped with (4) upright posts and dual durometer PVC closing strips. This product package includes the cabinet base only, with shelving and drawers sold separately.
