The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel and features 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, which have a cross section measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep that spans the full length and width of the base. To enhance strength and rigidity, each corner incorporates a welded steel 11 gauge gusset. The base mechanism is designed to provide 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts along with dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that the cabinet base is sold separately from the shelving and drawers.
