The Rotary File Cabinet Starter Unit is designed for legal-size documents and features four shelves in a sleek black finish. This innovative rotary file provides efficient use of space by offering more than double the file storage capacity compared to traditional filing systems, while facilitating swift access to stored materials. The cabinet is equipped with an EZ2® base constructed from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with 13 gauge U-channel reinforcements measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, ensuring a robust structure capable of supporting significant weight. The base is enhanced with welded 11 gauge steel gussets in each corner for added strength and includes four adjustable leveling feet for optimal stability. Each unit is fitted with four upright posts made from 11 gauge steel featuring dual durometer PVC closing strips, secured to the base with (2) 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts per post. A lock assembly with a random-keyed locking rod, formed from 3/8" diameter steel, is conveniently located on the right front post, allowing for locking in both open and closed positions. The EZ2® rotary bottom, supported by 5/8" diameter hardened steel ball bearings, ensures smooth operation, with letter size units featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage and 22 ball bearings, while the legal size units have a 24" diameter bearing cage with 44 ball bearings. The rotor bottom pivots on a 3/4" diameter pin for enhanced functionality.
