The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel and features 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, with channels measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep running the full length and width of the base. Each corner is reinforced with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset, enhancing the strength and rigidity of the base. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, and each EZ2® unit includes four upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips.
