The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements with a cross section measuring 4" wide by 3-1/2" deep, which span the full length and width of the base. To enhance strength and rigidity, each corner is supported by a welded steel 11 gauge gusset. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, and each EZ2® unit is equipped with four upright posts that include dual durometer PVC closing strips. This product is sold as a cabinet base only, with shelving and drawers available separately.
