The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements with a cross section of 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep that spans the full length and width of the base. It includes welded steel 11 gauge gussets at each corner to enhance strength and rigidity. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit is equipped with (4) upright posts and dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that this description pertains to the cabinet base only, with shelving and drawers sold separately.
