The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for letter-sized files and features five shelves in a sleek black finish. This innovative rotary file unit maximizes storage efficiency while providing rapid access to files, as it can hold more than double the amount of files compared to traditional filing solutions. The specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with 13 gauge steel U-channel reinforcements measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, providing a rigid structure capable of supporting the cabinet's weight. Each unit features four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel, equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips and bolted to the unit's base with two 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts per post. A lock assembly with a locking rod is conveniently located on the right front post, utilizing a 3/8" diameter steel rod lock bar for durability, and allowing for field-removable core locks that can be installed on either side of the unit. The EZ2® rotary bottom is supported by 5/8" diameter hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter size unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage with 22 ball bearings, and the legal size unit having a 24" diameter bearing cage with 44 ball bearings. The rotor bottom pivots on a 3/4" diameter pin. The cabinet also includes adjustable leveling feet for stabilization.
