The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for letter-sized documents and features a sleek black finish with seven shelves. This innovative double-sided, rotating shelf unit efficiently maximizes storage capacity while facilitating quick access to files, accommodating more than twice the storage of traditional filing systems. The cabinet's robust construction includes an EZ2® base made from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with 13 gauge steel U-channel reinforcements, exhibiting a cross-section of 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep across its full length and width. Each corner is strengthened with 11 gauge steel gussets, ensuring remarkable structural integrity. The cabinet is also equipped with four adjustable leveling feet for optimal stability and a base mechanism that allows 90° indexing without the need for a foot pedal. Each unit is supported by four 11 gauge steel upright posts, complete with dual durometer PVC closing strips, and secured with 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts. A lock assembly on the right front post enables secure locking, with a lock bar constructed from 3/8" diameter steel rod ensuring durability, and locks can be easily changed with a field removable core. The rotary bottom employs a design supported by 5/8" hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter size unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage housing 22 ball bearings.
