The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for legal filing and features seven shelves in a bone white finish. This innovative rotary file enhances efficiency by utilizing a double-sided, rotating shelf unit that accommodates more files in a smaller footprint compared to traditional filing systems, while ensuring quick access to documents. The specifications include a base constructed from 13 gauge steel with U-channel reinforcements for rigidity, supported by welded steel gussets at each corner and adjustable leveling feet for stability. The EZ2® unit comprises four upright posts made from 11 gauge steel, secured to the base with 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts. Each unit includes a lock assembly conveniently located on the right front post, with a durable lock bar made from 3/8" diameter steel rod. The rotary bottom employs 5/8" diameter hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter size unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage and 22 bearings, while the legal size unit includes a 24" diameter bearing cage with 44 bearings. The rotor pivots on a 3/4" diameter pin and mating surface, allowing for smooth operation.
