The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit, designed for legal documents, features seven shelves and comes in light gray. This unit can be seamlessly attached to the starter unit model XLG-S7-T47 via the end panels for enhanced storage capabilities. It incorporates a double-sided, rotating shelf design that significantly increases file capacity while occupying less space compared to conventional filing systems, thereby facilitating quick and easy access to stored materials. The specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from 13-gauge steel with U-channel reinforcements that measure 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, providing a rigid structure capable of supporting the cabinet's weight. Each corner includes an 11-gauge steel gusset for added strength, and adjustable leveling feet allow for easy leveling from the top of the base. The base mechanism enables 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet without the need for a foot pedal. The unit's uprights consist of four 11-gauge steel posts with dual durometer PVC closing strips, bolted to the base with 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts. A lock assembly is located on the right front post, with each cabinet being randomly keyed; the lock bar is made from 3/8" diameter steel rod for durability and features a removable core for convenient key changes. The rotary bottom is supported by hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter size unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage and the legal size unit having a 24" diameter bearing.
