The Rotary File Cabinet Starter Unit is designed for legal documents and features six shelves finished in a bone white color. This innovative rotary file system saves time, space, and money by providing a double-sided, rotating shelf unit that accommodates more than twice the files while offering fast and easy access to stored materials. The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel with U-channel reinforcements running the full length and width, ensuring a rigid structure capable of supporting the cabinet's weight. Each corner is reinforced with an 11 gauge gusset for added strength. The adjustable leveling feet allow for leveling from the top of the base, and the indexing mechanism provides 90° rotation without the need for a foot pedal. The unit includes four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel with dual durometer PVC closing strips, bolted to the base for stability. A lock assembly is conveniently located on the right front post, featuring a random-keyed lock bar made from 3/8" diameter steel rod, with a field-removable core for easy key changes and the option to lock in both the open and closed positions. The EZ2® rotary bottom is fully supported by hardened steel ball bearings, with a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage for letter size units and a 24" diameter bearing cage for legal size units, both ensuring smooth pivoting on a 3/4" diameter pin.
